Best for Reference

Being a professor for almost 10 years of the same subject can be very boring and lousy.  I do feel this especially when I run out of examples and references to make my students love the subject - Architectural Designing.

While I was browsing through the books in the library to look for pictures and architectural drawings, I overheard some students about a website wherein you can download printed floor plan drawings and all other necessary things that I need for reference.

I rushed home and visited the site.  I was delighted.  For a few bucks, I can have copies of printed structural detail drawings of different designs for houses and buildings.  The site also had information about design options, scheduling and budgeting of materials.  Other construction plans that I could as a reference from their website were reconstruction needs, interior and exterior remodeling, additions and decks.

I could also purchase basic structural designs in 3d of planes and other basic things that I would teach my student like beams and fascia detail - decorative column, beam to wall connection and bond beam detail.

Everything was right there at the tip of my fingers.  The following morning, I shared the site to my students and we had so much browsing through the site in the library.
