Safety First for Moms
My mom has been driving her old car around for many years now. Knowing my mom, she would not have brought her car to any mechanics in Raleigh for the yearly maintenance check. To her, as long as it’s working then it’s fine. A waste of money according to her to bring the car to the shop and also she’s not too keen on taking the bus or a cab when she’s already used to driving the car to bring her to places.
Good thing I was able to convince her to bring it to a shop that I go to for oil change Raleigh that can check the car’s condition for free. I think it was the word “free” that got her moving. They checked everything thoroughly. They gave my mom a list of what was needed to be done as well as the corresponding amount for each service. My mom was hesitant at first but the friendly mechanic explained that those things needed to be done to keep the car working in good condition and avoid any accidents caused by engine trouble in the future. Cost is not an issue when you’re talking about safety so my mom agreed.
She was happy after getting the car out of the shop and it gave me a peace of mind too knowing that she is now driving a car that is in good condition.
