The best way to sell structured settlement payments is to contact a reputable company that has been doing it for a long time. I found two that are in the city and one from doing an online search. It seems that they all know their stuff and have been doing it for years.

I have never been awarded a structured settlement but my parents did when I was younger. It came from some sort of accident that my father had at work and then he could not work there anymore. They paid him a structured settlement, for a certain amount for ten years. I know that every time it was about to be paid for the year, my parents would seem less stressed than during the rest of the year.

I am sure that it was hard getting all of your money for the year at one time and then having to make it last till the next time. Had it not been for the structured settlement though, I am not sure how we would have made it. I do not know if they knew that you could sell structured settlement payments then or not. Maybe they just wanted to make sure that every penny was given to them.
