Getting Dentures From My Dentists Was Easy
When the dentists that I have been going to for years both agreed that it was time for me to get dentures, I wanted to cry. I remember the dentures that my grandmother used to have and she would take them out at dinner time, and at bed time. I did not want to be the creepy old lady with false teeth.
I explained my fears to my dentists and they both told me that the false teeth of yesteryear were horrendous and I should not worry about those because today’s dentures are nothing like that. I was fitted for my new teeth and then waited a few weeks for them to come in. During those weeks, my dentist slowly removed all of the old teeth that had caused me so many problems over the last sixty five years. It was a little scary at first when they started to take two and three teeth out at a time but then I got used to it.
My new dentures fit like a glove and I stopped having so many issues. I could eat again and I only had to go back to the dentist like a normal person does. In fact, I had been going at least twice a month before and now I go every six to eight months to just make sure that everything is still fitting fine.
