The Footie Girls Pajamas Were Pink
The colorful girls pajamas that my niece was wearing when she came to spend the night with us, were really cute. I made a mental note to ask my sister where she had gotten them. They were footie pajamas with a very pretty pattern on them.
I remember being a kid and having to wear blue footie pajamas, because they did not have girlie ones back then or my mother did not look hard enough. I remember when my friends would come over for sleepovers and I would put on those blue footie pajamas, you would have thought that I had horns growing out of my ears when they saw me. A lot of my friends all had pretty pink nightgowns and stuff but my mother believed in buying clothes that served a purpose. Nightgowns do not keep you as warm as footie pajamas, so she would not have been able to turn the thermostat down had I been wearing a pink nightgown.
My sister and I remember those days, and so that is probably why her daughter has beautiful girls pajamas, not ugly blue or green ones. I wonder if they sell those fancy pink footie pajamas in an adult size, I know that I would buy them for myself in an instant.
