I knew I needed a good custom website design for my newest website. I know enough to let a good web company do the design and layout for me. I am not a web designer so I am not going to try to be. I cannot stand when people try to save money by doing their own custom web design. It may save them money intuitionally but who knows how much money they lose in sales because of a cheesy website.

Visitors are only going to take a few minutes to decide whether or not they are going to stick around and browse you site for awhile. You have to have a good functional design as well as hot buttons of the information that they are searching for.

Custom website design is not rocket science but it can also be botched up pretty bad if you have no clue what you are doing. A website is like a store front. If you were a total brick and mortar store would you let a cheap weekend warrior handyman construct your store front or do you want a professional remodeling contractor to do it?

Your website is normally your first impression of your company so do not let that be jeopardized to save a few bucks right out of the gate. Think long term results and how a bad website design could cost you traffic and sales.
