I heard on the news the other day that you can get an energy tax rebate from installing replacement windows into your home. I told my husband about this and we decided to look into it and call a few companies for estimates and to have this energy tax rebate explained in detail to us.

I have wanted replacement windows for about five years now and my husband always says that it would be too expensive so we just end up dropping the subject. The fact that we can get the energy tax rebate has helped me to open up this discussion again and he is actually listening.

The first company that we called came out and explained everything about replacement windows that we wanted to know. I was getting very excited about finally getting the replacement windows but then my husband told the guy that we would have to think about it. I asked the guy to explain the energy tax rebate thing again and then my husband changed his mind and told the guy to just schedule it. I was so happy.

We had to wait about two weeks for them to start the window replacement job but it was definitely worth the wait. The house looked better than I could have imagined. My husband was very happy with everything, especially with the energy tax rebate. I am going to find out if there is anything else we can have done to the house that will involve us getting a tax rebate.
