Lettuce and Carrots

When my friend George asked me to go to the swap meet with him, I did. I was not looking to buy anything but figured that it would get me out of the house. I had been out of work for a week and it already felt like a month.

When we got to the swap meet, I was shocked to see all the computer dealers there. I always thought that swap meets were for car part dealers. I figured that it might not be so bad after all. I found a guy who was selling broken used sun servers and used sun computers. These are the things I used to assemble at my old job.

I knew every piece of the sun servers and sun computers inside and out. He was impressed at how much I knew and asked me if I thought I could fix them too. I thought about it, and then told him that I probably could since once in a while we would get one back that we would have to troubleshoot and fix.

He hired me to go into business with him to fix the used sun servers and the used sun computers. Then I could travel with him all over the country selling them at swap meets. You can get a lot more money out of working equipment than broken equipment.
