Lettuce and Carrots

I bought glow face paint to use at the local flea market to paint little kids faces. I had noticed a face painting stand a few weeks earlier, and the line was very long. I had been back twice and had not seen the stand. I figured that it must have been just a onetime thing.

I remember being a kid and wanting my face painted. I used to make my parents stand in line for hours to get my face painted, and to buy those glow necklaces. Those were so cool. I would always put them in the freezer like they told you to, to make them last longer but they usually died within a day or two.

So, my idea was to kind of combine the two. Get your face painted with the glow face paint and it would last until your parents made you wash it off, in a few days if you were lucky. This way you would not have to stick the glow necklaces in the freezer, the glow would stay with you.

The morning that I set up for the face painting stand, people kept asking me crazy questions that I did not have the answer for. By noon, I had a line of at least fifty kids. I made a ton of friends and a lot of money which I donated to a local charity. I just wanted the experience, and now that I had done it, I was done painting faces.
