My Wife and I Bought Overseas Property after our Honeymoon
We wife and I went to France for our honeymoon and fell in love with the beautiful countryside. We knew that we wanted to live there, after only two days into our honeymoon. We went and visited all of the tourist spots and wanted to see all of the museums but we ran out of time.
When we returned home about a week later, we got online and found a company to help us in our quest to buy overseas property in France. Our friends and family thought that we were crazy at the time, but now know that we were not just kidding around.
We bought a beautiful three bedroom apartment located in the heart of the quaintest little city in France. It was more affordable than we thought it was going to be. We even found jobs before we closed on the house. Since we are both doctors, we got jobs at the same hospital which is located about ten minutes from our apartment.
When we told everyone that we had closed on our overseas property, they told us that they would miss us, but would enjoy visiting us since they knew that we had the room in our apartment. We told them to come anytime that they wanted to.
